NHS Continuing Healthcare is a fully funded care package received by the NHS regardless of whether you receive care in a care home or in your own home. It is not means tested and therefore your financial situation does not matter.

You are eligible for NHS Continuing Healthcare where you have significant continuing, long-term physical or mental ‘health needs’ that are complex, intense and/or unpredictable in nature, and where the primary aspect of your care is to address or prevent those health needs.

Unfortunately, there isn’t a one size fits all when it comes to establishing whether someone’s needs fall within the criteria and no clear list of what illness or health conditions qualify you for funding. The assessment is on the individual’s health needs and the nature of those needs.
Our team is made up of registered general nurses, pharmacists, care providers and advocates who are able to provide you and your family with the guidance and support required throughout the process. Our continuing healthcare service is tailored around you, we work flexibly without sacrificing quality so that we can provide you with the support you require as and when.
